About Naff Foundation 

Naff Foundation is a nonprofit helping women, youths, elderly, and disabled through sustainable programs, including the solar water pump, water tanks, Stove-Jiko Koa, bio-digester, fish farming, and agriculture. We are currently on a pilot study for guaranteed income for the needy and vulnerable we need support and funding. We also are contributing to the solar water and water tanks project for the needy women and community. We are seeking your donation in terms of water tanks and financial resources.
Note: We are working under Mbita Roadside Kiosk and Stall Owners CBO in Homabay County, Mbita Sub-County, Kasgunga Ward.

• To establish and operate a physiotherapy and wellness center that provides comprehensive care and rehabilitation services for the elderly.

• To support access to quality education for needy and disadvantaged students through scholarships, mentorship, and school development support.

• To promote environmental conservation and climate awareness through community-based initiatives such as tree planting, waste management, and sustainable practices.

• To implement community development programs that enhance the economic, health, and social well-being of marginalized groups, especially youth and women.

• To build the capacity of local communities through training, resource mobilization, and partnership development for sustainable impact.

• To advocate for the rights and welfare of the elderly, children, and underserved populations in line with national development goals and global sustainability agendas.

Volunteer Stays Information

  • Stay duration: Minimum Stay: 7days, Minimum age: 18, places available: 10 helpers

  • Renewals & Fees: Living $5.00/day per person

  • Airport Transfer

NOTE

  1. Any new ideas are welcome and will be appreciated

  2. Prior project experience IS NOT required. We'll be here every step of the way to assist you and make sure you feel comfortable in your role as a volunteer. Volunteers interested in helping with other kind of activities such as construction, farming and elderly care are also welcome.

  3. As a volunteer, you’ll have a flexible schedule that will allow you plenty of time to contribute while still being able to discover, travel and share the daily life of locals!

Living and Lifestyle

  1. We provide accommodation and three meals per day in exchange for volunteering with us.

  2. We can offer private and/or shared rooms. The basic necessities (nets, towels, pillows, blankets, bedsheets) are provided.

  3. Bathrooms and toilets are separate from rooms but on-site. Our showering is the local way with water basket.

  4. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided and we do our best to take into consideration any dietary needs. As a volunteer, you'll discover the local cuisine and eat traditional dishes like Plough, Ugali, Mandazi, etc. We'd also love to teach you how to cook these dishes if you are interested!

  5. We do not have laundry facilities, but we will be happy to help with laundry and teach the practices of the locals.

  6. We do however recommend bringing any medications with you as these may be difficult to find.

  7. Males & Females welcome, Couples accommodated, Families accommodated, and Pets are allowed.

  8. We want to make sure you are getting the most out of your stay with us as a volunteer and as a visitor to Kenya!

  9. We would love to help you discover the rich culture, history and landmarks that Kenya has to offer.

  10. We'll do our very best to help you organize safaris, weekend and cultural visits all according to your budget.

  11. Visits to Ruma National Park, Simbi Nyaima, Kit Mikai, Masai Mara, Lake Victoria, Rusinga Island, Mt Kenya, Mt Elgon, Mombasa Beaches, Nairobi, and lots more all await you! :)
